Notice of Complete Applicaiton and Public Meeting Concerning a Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment by the Town of Collingwood, ON

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood will hold a public meeting on Monday December 2^nd, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 97 Hurontario Street, Collingwood, to hear the planning merits and gather public input regarding a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P. 13, as amended. This submission is also deemed to be a complete application pursuant to Section 34(10.4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O 1990, c. P. 13, as amended.

 The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment pertains to land located on the west side of Pine Street and is legally described as Lot 23, West of Pine Street, Registered Plan 73, Town of Collingwood, County of Simcoe and is addressed municipally as 110 Pine Street, Collingwood.

 

THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT of the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the land from the Downtown Core Commercial (C1) zone to a Downtown Core Commercial Exception (C1-E) zone.  The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment will allow dwelling units on the ground floor of the building and recognize the existing front yard setback of the building. 

 The proposal is to convert the existing building into a total of five (5) dwelling units, being three (3) units on the upper floors and two (2) units on the ground floor.
